Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 May 2026
This page explains the cookies and similar storage technologies Engagement Verse uses. Where regulations require it, you'll see a banner asking for consent before non-essential cookies are set.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a site. We also use related technologies: ``localStorage`` (client-side persistence), ``sessionStorage``, and HTTP-only cookies for session tokens.
Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the Service to function. Cannot be disabled.
access_token— your authenticated session JWT, kept in localStorage. Cleared on sign-out.ev_active_product_id— remembers which product workspace you last opened so we can re-scope queries on next load.
Functional
Improve your experience but the Service runs without them.
- UI preferences (sidebar collapsed / expanded, theme).
- Recently-viewed templates and segments.
Analytics
We currently do not load third-party analytics scripts. Operational telemetry (request logs) is captured server-side and is not tied to cookies.
Marketing / advertising
Engagement Verse does not run third-party advertising trackers.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies via their settings. Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will sign you out and prevent the workspace from loading. For functional cookies, you can clear them without losing access to the Service.
Changes to this policy
We update this Cookie Policy alongside the Privacy Policy. Material changes are announced via in-app banner.
